Pedro Ortiz began painting at an early age. He moved to Madrid to do his military service, making murals in Alcalá de Henares and working as an official draftsman and sign maker at the Army Staff School, while attending the Círculo de Bellas Artes to draw from life. Throughout his career as an artist he has had 25 solo exhibitions and more than 130 group exhibitions, both in Alicante and abroad. Currently his work is spread throughout the national geography from Gerona to Seville, through the main Spanish capitals, and appearing in Alicante Institutions such as El Ateneo, El Real Liceo Casino de Alicante, Mutua Unión Patronal, Diputación Provincial, Asociación de Informadores Técnicos Sanitarios, Museo Taurino de Alicante. In March 2012 he was selected to participate with 8 works in the Biennial Kunstar 2012 in Bolzano (Italy).
