Founder of the Bulto Group together with Uiso Alemany, Constante Gil and other artists who enriched their work with a social sense in the Valencia of the transition, his professional career has led him to become one of the most important painters of contemporary minimalist informalism in the Valencian Community, as well as having international recognition. Rafael Muñoz Calduch graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He was one of the founders of the Bulto Group, made up of twenty painters who coincided in their desire for aesthetic renovation and their progressive ideology, enriching their work by giving it a social meaning in the Valencia of the transition. He currently shares his artistic work with teaching at the San Carlos Faculty of Fine Arts.
